Genesis Belanger
Genesis Belanger (b. 1978, USA) received her MFA from Hunter College and obtained two BFAs from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Rhode Island School of Design. Recent institutional solo exhibitions include The Consortium Museum, Dijon; The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield and the New Museum, New York. Her work is held in numerous public collections including Arsenal Contemporary, Montreal; Fundación MEDIANOCHE0, Granada; Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami; Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Pond Society Shanghai. She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
