Made in L.A. 2018 features Candice Lin alongside a group of Los Angeles based artists who exemplify the diverse cultural landscape of the area. The Hammer's acclaimed biennial exhibition is organized by Anne Ellegood, senior curator, and Erin Christovale, assistant curator, with MacKenzie Stevens, curatorial associate. Performances are coordinated by Vanessa Arizmendi, curatorial assistant.

The Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation announces Candice Lin as one of thirty artists selected to receive a grant to produce new work. Lin and the other artists will be featured in a catalogue published by the foundation this May.

Neil Beloufa's solo exhibition L’Ennemi de mon ennemi  is a curation of works, historical documents, war museum artifacts, and found objects that assemble a telling of history and explore the lingering ambiguity of perspective. Beloufa organizes these objects kinetically, attaching them to constantly moving robots to create a fragmented and shifting narrative. The show is on view this Friday, February 16 through May 13 at Palais de Tokyo.

Candice Lin's  A Hard White Body, a Soft White Worm at Portikus is her first institutional solo exhibition in Germany. The show is a coproduction with last year's A Hard White Body at Bétonsalon, Paris, newly presenting the porcelain remnants of the latter's previous form. Continuing on the woven histories of James Baldwin, the African American writer and social critic, and Jeanne Baret, the French botanist and sailor, the scene at Portikus presents these stories as fragmented pieces, precariously visible as glimpses of a whole.

Ghebaly Gallery is proud to host a benefit party for Human Resources Los Angeles. The art auction will take place on November 12th from 5 - 8 pm and feature special performances by LA Fog and Anenon.
