Christine Sun Kim and Thomas Mader
Since 2013, Christine Sun Kim and Thomas Mader have worked on a shared practice, addressing the complexities of communication. Their longstanding collaboration informs their exploration of different perceptual worlds, methods of communication, and the power relations between signed and spoken languages.
They work in a variety of formats, including video, sculpture and drawing.

Christine Sun Kim was born in Orange County, USA, and lives in Berlin. She uses different media to investigate her relationship with spoken languages and sound as a social currency.
Thomas Mader was born in the South of Germany and lives in Berlin. He works with themes related to communication, linguistics and storytelling.
